It’s not everyday that you get to be a magician’s assistant. Nonetheless I had the enjoyable task of decorating Daniel Thomsens magical bunny box. Believe it or not, when @daniel.thomsen_ gets his hands on this box, bunnies will be hopping out!

This is Louis Pio. Exactly 150 years ago his fell

This is Louis Pio.
Exactly 150 years ago his fellow socialists demonstrated and fought to better the living, working and voting rights of Danish workers. Pio had been arrested the day before.

The fight has gone down in Danish history as Slaget på Fælleden/The Battle of the Commons and Pio is viewed as a revolutionary symbol of the Danish Labour Movement.

I had the honour of being commissioned by FH Hovedstaden to create the anniversary artwork. My vision was to mix old and new, colour and black-and-white, photo and chalk. It was my first time using chalk as a medium and I found out that it’s messy in the most literal sense (I had more chalk on me than the paper!) but I am very pleased with the vibrant effect of the final result.

We’ve created a 64-page guide book and a hike’n’bike map.

Summer’s knocking and I hope these publications will inspire people to enjoy the abundance of fun and beauty that Elsinore and the surrounding areas have to offer.
